Zhang xinjun
张新军
Zhang Xinjun uses a variety of media to extract and condense abstract forms that are embedded in his own memories and personal emotions. By incorporating readily available materials from his daily life and physically "involving his own body" in the artistic process, he establishes a connection between his art and his immediate surroundings. Through a series of intensive or primitive labor, he strives to repair and convert the moments of contradiction that arise from individual life in micro-situations.

张新军运用多样化的媒介提炼凝结在自身记忆和个人情感间的抽象形式。通过艺术家身体的介入与生活日常中触手可及的材料形成联结，以一系列密集或原始的劳动去修复并转化生命个体在微观处境下的矛盾时刻。
